Review by hotel critic
Review of Sapta PetalaMy recent stay at Sapta Petala was a blend of nostalgia and practicality, reminding me of my first visit 42 years ago. While the hotel presents itself as a luxury destination, the reality reflects a more moderate offering. The room featured a comfortable mattress and basic amenities, including air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, but could use some modern upgrades. Putu, the attentive staff member, ensured all requests were met efficiently, while April at the reception was invaluable in arranging daily vehicle rentals. The fast Wi-Fi and serene atmosphere added to the experience, especially with stunning views from the third-floor balcony. Conveniently located near Discovery Mall, dining options abound, though the hotel's overall condition left something to be desired. For travelers seeking value over opulence, Sapta Petala may serve adequately, provided expectations are aligned with the pricing. In my view, it encapsulates the essence of getting what you pay for in today's hospitality landscape.
